Indian ink drawings on A4 90gr
The roots of my work are built on the basis of sketches on the spot. Drawing people in public spaces implies a moving and dynamic position of observer, a direct and rapid execution.
A kinesiastic « look » develops to allow a subtle connection to the movement of an individual in a crowd.
I observe how bodies construct space and generate flux, register themselves there and detach themselves from it, in unity or in mass.
I also seek what remains of the individual in the mass, before he drowns in it.
On the other hand, the practice of dance and martial arts have transformed my drawing by fluidifying it and opening it. Crossed by a more inner movement, my line has been simplified and clarified. From now on, I associate my body drawings with body experiments.
