Collective exhibition UNE SECONDE VIE PAR L’ART
installation at the General Council of the Meurthe-et-Moselle. (2012)
On the occasion of the European Week of Waste Reduction, the General Council of the Meurthe-et-Moselle organized an exhibition of works of art made from waste, at Nancy, at the seat of the General Council, from 21 to 28 November 2012.
The sculpture «n(n+1)/2 – Nancy #» have been installed. It responded to different volumes of the architecture. It was reflected in the black soil and took advantage of the changes of light coming from the window glass behind it.
Posée directement au sol, elle semblait fragile et sur le point de tomber. En réalité, sa masse lui donnait une assise surprenant et il aurait fallu une puissante poussée maintenue et volontaire pour la renverser.
Placed directly on the floor, it seemed fragile and about to fall. In fact, its mass gave it a surprising seat and it would have needed a powerful and sustained voluntary push to overturn it.
Solo exhibition L’AUTRE VISAGE
Installation at the Bains Douches d’Alençon (2011)
The sculpture n(n+1)/2 – Alençon # is installed in the center of a room immersed in the darkness and illuminated by 3 video projections. It almost touches the ceiling and seems to invade the room. The light of the projections is reflected on the glass.
It takes time for the eyes to get used to the darkness and discover the space. A time to go through the room and listen to the soundtrack that inhabits it. Looking at the glass or through the glass, each time different forms of perception are proposed.
